Roller Bearings
Roller bearings are the bearings that can minimize friction but can still carry loads because of their design. The cylinder rolling elements help the bearings to transmit loads while providing a support to the axial & radial loads. The rolling elements in these bearings may be either single row or multiple rows; where the latter can help improve the radial load capacity. Although roller bearings may help in only low-speed operations, they find their use in machines to manage higher loads.

Cylindrical roller bearings
Cylindrical roller bearings have rollers that have a longer diameter and these bearings have the capacity to handle loads higher than the ball bearings. This type of bearings find their use in high-speed applications and can easily tolerate heavy radial loads.
The design of the cylindrical roller bearings is in a way that ensures linear contact of the bearings with the raceways. The bearings are versatile and one can rely on them for myriad applications. Bearings may be caged or uncaged and may vary depending upon the number of rows from single row to 4 rows. The bearings can support heavy loads which makes them suitable for rotary purposes.

Needle roller bearings
Needle roller bearings are the bearings that have a shorter diameter in comparison to their length. The inner and outer rings in the needle roller bearings offer housing and support to the needle rollers to ensure a smooth rotation despite being in compact spaces. Even in the smallest of areas, these bearings can tolerate heavy loads which is why they are ideal for us in numerous industries and for varying purposes.
Needle roller bearings come in a small size which makes them suitable for machines with tight spaces without compromising the efficiency and operations of the machine. These bearings cause less wastage of energy as they can lower friction and require minimal maintenance even when being used in harsh work environments. Needle roller bearings last a lifetime and their durability is something to count upon.

Spherical roller bearings
Designed for use in heavy-duty operations, spherical roller bearings are efficient and have a high capacity to bear loads. Spherical roller bearings have spherical rollers that ensure rolling contact without fretting.
These bearings have an inner ring and an outer ring between which there may be either one row or two rows of balls. Spherical roller bearings find their application in machines that can handle radial loading. Between the loads, these bearings prevent friction from happening and can manage misalignment due to machine operations. The bearings are ideal for use in places where ball bearings might not help as spherical roller bearings are efficient; given their unique design.
Spherical roller bearings find their application in machines from a range of industries like aerospace, construction equipment, off-road vehicles, automotive transmission, wind energy generation, marine, mining and agriculture.

Taper roller bearings
Tapered roller bearings have a cone and a cup body where the cup contains the outer ring while the cone comprises the cage, rollers, & inner ring. While the machine operations are underway, this unique design of taper roller bearings helps accommodate the loads and minimize the friction. These bearings can effortlessly manage radial & axial forces, and there is lesser heat generation as they minimize friction.
The capacity of taper roller bearings is high enough to handle heavy loads and they also support directional loading. They offer a proper rolling motion and hence, there is lesser skidding while unloading.
