Spherical Plain Bearings
Spherical plain bearings were introduced to address the industrial demands for bearing solutions that can neutralize angular discrepancies while being able to tolerate multi-directional loads. Made from standard steel, the spherical plain bearings are corrosion-resistant and find their use in industrial or aerospace applications. They require low maintenance which makes them suitable for machines involving swivel movements. They can withstand high shock loads, radial loads, and high alternating loads in a unilateral direction.

Radial spherical plain bearings
Radial spherical plain bearings are maintenance-free bearings that consist of outer ring, inner ring and maintenance-free sliding layer. There is a curved outer slideway with a cylindrical bore in the inner ring while the outer ring has a concave inner slideway with a cylindrical outside surface. These bearings can handle radial forces and can withstand alternating loads with a moderate contact pressure. Radial spherical plain bearings are manufactured from high performance materials and used where bearings having sliding contact surfaces cannot help.

Axial spherical plain bearings
Axial spherical plain bearings are the bearings with shaft locating washer, housing locating washer and a socket-shaped sliding zone. These bearings are available in varying sizes and can also be customized as per the needs & area of application. ELGOGLIDE is the sliding material present in the axial spherical plain bearings within the housing locating washer. The bearings find their application in varying purposes where shafts with diameter ranging between 10 mm and 360 mm are used.

Angular contact spherical plain bearings
Angular contact spherical plain bearings have inner ring, outer ring and a sliding layer attached with the help of the adhesive. A curved outer sideway is there in the inner ring while a concave inner slideway is there in the outer ring. The angular contact spherical plain bearings serve their purpose in machines with shaft diameters ranging between 25 mm to 200 mm. These bearings are also available in different sizes with the option to customize according to particular specifications. The bearings can tolerate alternating dynamic loads while supporting axial & radial loads.
